Pagbubukas ng klase iniurong ng DepEd sa October 5

Iniurong ng Department of Education (DepEd) sa October 5, 2020 ang pagbubukas ng klase para sa School Year 2020-2021.

Sa pahayag sinabi ni DepEd Sec. Leonor Briones na ito ang naging rekomendasyon nila kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na inaprubahan naman ng pangulo.

Sa memorandum mula sa Office of the President inuurong na ang pagbubukas ng klase sa October 5.

“As per the memorandum, the President has given approval to the recommendation of DepEd. Thus, we will implement such a decision to defer school opening to October 5 pursuant to Republic Act No. 11480,” ayon sa pahayag ng DepEd.

Ang nalalabing panahon na wala pang klase ay gagamitin ng DepEd para paghandaan pa ang logistical limitations lalo na sa mga lugar na isinailalim sa MECQ.

Ang mga paaralan sa lugar na wala na sa MECQ ay inaatasang ituloy na ang mga orientations, dry runs, at paghahatid ng learning resources para matiyak na handa na sila pagdating ng October 5.

Ayon sa DepEd, ito na ang huling adjustment para sa school opening.
