Sinira ng Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) ang mga nakumpiskang kontrabando sa loob ng New Bilibid Prison (NBP)
Isinagawa ang pagsira sa mga kontrabando kabilang ang cellphones, WiFi booster, laptops at iba pa sa admin building ng Bilibid, araw ng Huwebes (August 13).
Nakumpiska ang mga kontrabando mula pa taong 2015.
Narito ang bilang ng mga nakuhang kontrabando sa loob ng Bilibid:

– Cellular phone chargers (1,724)
– Cellular phone headset (70)
– Digital TV plus (1)
– Tablet (41)
– Laptop (7)
– Bluetooth keyboard (3)
– Power bank (11)
– Bluetooth speaker (3)
– Mobile signal booster-amplifier (29)
Tobacco/Cigarette:
– Tobacco (2,072 bars)
– Hand rolled cigarette (likit)(1,014)
– Cigarettes (98 sticks)

Tiniyak ng BuCor sa publiko na magiging contraband-free ang Bilibid para sa kaligtasan ng mga bilanggo at personnel.
