5 sundalo lang ang nasawi, 7 sugatan sa Lanao del Sur – Army

Nilinaw ng Philippine Army na limang sundalo lang ang nasawi sa kanilang pakikipag-sagupaan sa mga armadong Moro sa Butig, Lanao del Sur, habang pito lamang ang sugatan.

Lumabas ang kumpirmasyon makaraang may lumabas na ulat na mas maraming tropa ng gobyerno ang nasawi sa bakbakan na tumagal ng ilang linggo.

Ayon kay Philippine Army’s 103rd Brigade commander Col. Roseller Murillo, ang mga lumabas na ulat ay isa lamang propaganda laban sa kanilang pwersa.

Nakasaad kasi sa mga ulat na hindi bababa sa 55 armadong kalalakihan ang nasawi, ngunit ani Murillo, 33 lang ang nakuhanan nila ng pangalan habang limang bangkay lamang ang nabilang.

Dagdag pa ni Murillo, balak nilang mag-lagay ng watawat ng Pilipinas sa loob ng kampo ng armadong grupo sa Brgy. Puktan na kamakailan lamang ay naagaw sa kamay ng pamahalaan.

Aniya pa, simula kahapon ay wala pa naman ulit nagaganap na putukan dahil nagsasagawa na rin sila ng clearing operations.
