P10B pondo para sa turismo sa ilalim ng ipinasang Bayanihan 2 ng Kamara lilikha ng maraming trabaho
Lilikha ng maraming trabaho at makakapag-generate ng P35 billion economic activity sa tourism sector ang P10 billion alokasyon sa Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority o TIEZA sa ilalim ng inaprubahang Bayanihan 2 ng Mababang Kapulungan ng Kongreso.
Ayon kay Deputy Speaker LRay Villafuerte, taliwas ito sa mga pahayag na hindi dapat gawing prayoridad ang ng tourism industry ang infrastructure.
Sinopla rin ni Villafuerte ang proposal ni Tourism Congress of the Philippines President Jose Clemente III na kailangang magkaroon ng bailouts na direktang ibibigay sa mga private firms dahil hindi ito pinapayagan sa ilalim ng batas.
Sabi naman ni House Committee on Good Government and Public accountability Chairman Jose Antonio Sy-Alvarado na magbibigay ang nasabing halaga upang mg look-forward ang tourism industry ng bansa.
Nakasaad anya sa inaprubahang bersyon ng Kamara sa Bayanihan 2 ang mga mekanismo kung paano makapag avail ang mga tourism enterprise sa pamamagitan ng mga government financial institutions.
Giit nito, dapat samantalahin ng pamahalaan ang pagdevelop sa tourism intrastructure ngayong kakaunti pa lamang ang turista sa bansa bukod pa sa kailangan ng mag Filipino lalo na sa mga malalayong lugar ng trabaho dahil sa COVID-19 pandemic.
