Kongresista pinuna ang magkakaibang pahayag ng mga ahensya ng gobyerno tungkol sa COVID-19 response

Hinimok ni House Assistant Majority Leader at ACT-CIS Rep. Niña Taduran ang Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) na magpalabas ng nagkakaisang direktiba kaugnay sa paglaban sa COVID-19.

Paliwanag ni Taduran, nakalilito ang iba-ibang pahayag ng mga ahensya ng gobyerno bukod pa ang sa mga loKal na pamahalaan.

“It’s time for IATF to take the helm again. I-consolidate nila ang lahat ng mga guidelines and make a uniform announcement,” saad ni Taduran.

Kabilang sa magkaibang pahayag ay ang paggamit ng face shield kung saan ang Department of Transportation ay magpapatupad na mandatory ang face shield kapag nasa public transportation pero sabi naman ng Department of Health ay hindi ito requirement bagkus ay hinikayat lamang nila ang publiko.

Dapat din anyang kontrolin ng Department of Trade and Industry ang presyo ng mga facemask at hand sanitizers na nagtataasan na ang presyo.

Sabi pa ni Taduran, “Maraming nagsasamantala sa pandemya. Dapat hulihin ang mga mapagsamantalang negosyante. Additional cost na nga ito para sa mga tao, tatagain pa sa presyo”.
