BPI binalaan ang kanilang mga kliyente sa “Spoofing” activities

Nagbabala ang BPI sa pakakaroon ng “spoofing activities” target ang mga bank account.

Ayon sa BPI, batay sa modus, makatanggap ng text messages ang isang indibidwal mula sa nagpapakilalang “bank agents” at mag-aabiso ng system updates o account deactivation.

Layon nitong makuha ang personal ay sensitive information.

Paalala ng BPI, hinding-hindi hihingin ng kanilang mga totoong agent ang OTP o one-time password ng mga kliyente.

Kung makararanas ng ganitong uri ng panloloko, agad itawag sa BPI hotline na 889-10000.
