Bilang ng Filipino abroad na gumaling sa COVID-19, 5,790 na

Nasa tatlo ang bagong napaulat na nagpositibong Filipino sa COVID-19 sa ibang bansa.

Sa datos ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) hanggang August 10, umakyat na sa 9,757 ang mga kumpirmadong positibo sa COVID-19 na Filipino mula sa 72 na bansa at rehiyon.

Sa nasabing bilang, 3,259 ang patuloy na nagpapagamot sa iba’t ibang ospital.

Umakyat naman sa 5,790 ang overseas Filipinos na naka-recover sa nakakahawang sakit o na-discharge na sa ospital.

Samantala, nanatili muli sa 708 ang COVID-19 related deaths sa mga Filipino abroad.

Pinakamarami pa ring naitalang confirmed COVID-19 positive na OF sa bahagi ng Middle East/Africa na may 6,849 na kaso.

Sumunod dito ang Europa na may 1,143 confirmed COVID-19 positive cases na OF.

Nasa 784 naman ang kaso sa Americas at 981 sa Asia Pacific Region.

“As the DFA personnel in our FSPs continue to actively monitor the status of the Filipino community abroad and work to safely repatriate more of our stranded nationals home, we look forward to seeking more and more recoveries as well as zero fatalities similar with today’s report in the coming days,” ayon pa sa kagawaran.
