P23.5-M halaga ng ecstacy, nasabat ng BOC NAIA sa Pasay City

Nasamsam ng Bureau of Customs – NAIA ang pitong packages na naglalaman ng 13,824 ecstacy tablets sa Central Mail Exchange Center (CMEC) warehouse sa Pasay City.

Nadiskubre ang party drugs sa iba’t ibang parcels na may iba’t ibang consignees.

Nagkakahalaga ang mga nasabat na ecstacy tablets ng P23,500,800.

Nagmula sa Netherlands at Belgium ang mga kargamento na misdeclared bilang “Caffe Gondoliere Espresso Beans, Caffe Gondoliere Creme Bonen”, “Gondoliere Coffee (Arabica)”, “Granulaat”, “Snoepjes”, “Coffee DE (Espresso)”, “DE Coffee (Aroma Red) (Mocca)”; at “Fishing Bath, Energy Saving LED Light, Pillow for Kids, Disney Pixar – The Secret Life of Pets.”

Sa physical examination ng BOC-NAIA Customs Examiners, natagpuang ang mga tablet na may iba’t ibang kulay ng ecstacy.

Nakumpirma rin sa field tests ng CAIDTF at PDEA Chemical Laboratory Test ecstacy ang mga nakuhang tablet.

Nai-turnover ng BOC-NAIA sa PDEA ang mga ilegal na droga para sa profiling at case build up laban sa mga importer at iba pang personalidad na posibleng sangkot sa paglabag sa Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 na may kinalaman sa Section 1401 ng Customs Modernization and Tariff Act.
