Ayon sa Phivolcs, tumama ang lindol sa layong 275 kilometers Southeast ng Sarangani bandang 2:17 ng hapon.
May lalim ang lindol na 96 kilometers at tectonic ang origin.
Sinabi ng Phivolcs na wala namang napaulat na pinsala sa nasabing bayan.
Wala ring inaasahang aftershocks matapos ang pagyanig sa probinsya.
