TESDA, puspusan sa paggawa ng 50-M reusable cloth face masks

Puspusan ang pagtatrabaho ng Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) sa paggawa ng 50 milyong reusable cloth face masks

Ito ay matapos ipag-utos ng pamahalaan na gawin nang mandatory ang pagsusuot ng face mask sa bansa bilang proteksyon kontra sa COVID-19.

Ayon kay TESDA Deputy Director General Aniceto Bertiz, tatapusin nila ang paggawa ng 50 milyong facemask sa loob ng apat na buwan.

Libre aniyang ipamamahagi ng pamahalaan ang face mask.

“We’ve been tasked to mass-produce the face masks based on required quality standards and at a cost of no more than P15 each,” pahayag ni Bertiz.

Kapag naging available na aniya ang mga face mask, kanila itong itu-turn over sa DILG para maipamahagi sa publiko.

Makikipag-ugnayan aniya ang TESDA sa Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), small and medium-sized enterprises, pati na ang mga nasa home-based livelihood support program at ang mga nasa garments industry.
