Nagpapagaling sa ospital si dating Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim.
Kinumpirma ito ng chief of staff ni Lim na si Ric de Guzman matapos kumalat ang mga balita na malubha ang kondisyon ng dating alkalde.
Umapela si De Guzman sa publiko na bigyan ng privacy ang pamilya ng dating alkalde habang nakatutok sila sa pagpapagaling ni Lim.
Hindi naman tinukoy sa pahayag kung ano ang karamdaman ni Lim.
“On behalf of the the family of former Mayor Fred Lim, we appeal to everyone to please give us some moments of privacy as we focus on Mayor Lim’s swift recovery from his current illness. We thank all those who have expressed concern and offered prayers for him and us during these trying times,” ani De Guzman.
Hiniling ni De Guzman na patuloy na ipagdasal si Lim.
Naka-confine aniya ito sa ospital at nakikitaan naman ng positibong pagtugon sa gamutan.
