Task Force pinabubuo ni Pangulong Duterte para maimbestigahan ang PhilHealth
Inatasan ni Pangulong Duterte ang Department of Justice (DOJ) na bumuo ng Task Force para imbestigahan ang umano ay mga anomalya sa PhilHealth.
Ayon kay Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, iniutos ni Pangulong Duterte kay Justice Sec. Menardo Guevarra ang pagbuo ng task force.
Ang Task Force ay pamumunuan ng DOJ, kasama ang Office of the Ombudsman, Commission on Audit, Civil Service Commission, Office of the Executive Secretary, Office of the Special Assistant to the President at Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC).
Bibigyan ng otorisasyon ang task force na mag-isyu ng preventive suspensions sa mga mapatutunayang sangkot sa korapsyon.
Sinabi ni Roque na bagaman kapwa nagsasagawa ng imbestigasyon ang Kamara at Senado ay wala silang kapangyarihan para magsuspinde ng mga opisyal.
Ani Roque, batid ng pangulo ang mga isyung bumabalot sa hensya at kahit hindi pa agad magkaroon ng mabilisang resulta sa imbestigasyon ay pwedeng magkaroon ng preventive suspension para mapangalagaan ang kaban ng PhilHealth.
