Nasawing Pinoy sa pagsabog sa Beirut umakyat na sa apat; 31 pa ang sugatan ayon sa DFA
Mayroong dalawa pang Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) na nasawi sa pagsabog sa Beirut, Lebanon.
Ayon sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), batay sa update mula sa Philippine Embassy sa Beirut, umakyat na sa 4 ang bilang ng mga Pinoy na nasawi sa pagsabog.
Umabot naman na sa 31 ang mga Pinoy na naitalang nasugatan.
Sinabi ng DFA na isa pang household service worker ang nawawala at patuloy na pinaghahanap.
“We are saddened by the latest turn of developments. The higher figure comes as our Embassy personnel work to ascertain the condition of the Filipinos in its jurisdiction,“ ayon kay Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Sarah Lou Y. Arriola.
Sa mga nasugatang Pinoy, dalawa ang kritikal ang kondisyon sa Rizk Hospital.
Tiniyak ng DFA na patuloy na binabantayan ng embahada ang kondisyon ng mga Pinoy sa Beirut.
