DFA, kinumpirmang ligtas ang 13 Filipino seafarers sa Lebanon

Kinumpirma ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) na ligtas ang 13 Filipino seafarers matapos ang pagsabog sa Beirut, Lebanon.

“Our Embassy in Beirut has ascertained the conditions of all the 13 Filipino seafarers who were injured in the blasts that rocked the city recently,” pahayag ni Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs Sarah Lou Arriola

11 sa 13 seafarers ang unang napaulat na nawawala kasunod ng malakas na pagsabog sa Beirut.

Nauna nang binisita ni Philippine Embassy Beirut Charge d’affaires Ajeet Panemanglor ang walong seafarer na nasa pangangalaga ng pamunuan ng kanilang shipping company.

Ang lima namang seafarers ay nasa ospital para sa isa pang medical checkup nang dumating ang mga opisyal ng Philippine Embassy.

Cruise members ang 13 Filipino seafarers sa nakadaong na cruise ship na Orient Queen sa Beirut nang maganap ang pagsabog.
