Isang empleyado ng embahada ng Pilipinas sa Bahrain ang nagpositibo sa COVID-19.
Dahil dito, pansamantalang isinara muna ang embahada simula ngayong araw, August 6, 2020.
Ayon sa abiso ng embahada, sasailalim sa disinfection ang pasilidad.
Ang mga tauhan nito ay sasailalim sa 14 na araw na self-quarantine.
Ang mga mayroong kumpirmadong appointments para sa passport renewal at iba pang consular services ay makatatanggap ng tawag sa telepono o email para sa kanilang bagong schedule.
