Sabangan, Mountain Province niyanig ng magnitude 4.5 na lindol

(UPDATE) Itinaas sa magnitude 4.5 ang unang naitalang magnitude 4.1 na lindol sa Mountain Province.

Ayon sa Phivolcs, naitala ang pagyanig sa 9 kilometers southeast ng bayan ng Sabangan, alas-6:58 umaga ng Miyerkules (August 5).

May lalim na 12 kilometers at tectonic ang origin ng pagyanig.

Naitala ang sumusunod na intensities:
Intensity V – Sabangan, Mountain Province
Intensity IV – Bauko, Sagada, and Besao, Mountain Province; Hungduan, Ifugao; Mankayan, Benguet
Intensity III – Banaue, Ifugao
Intensity II – Baguio City; Tublay, Benguet

Wala namang inaasahang pagkasira sa mga ari-arian at aftershocks.
