Online appointment scheme sa BI suspendido muna

Suspendido muna ang pagtanggap ng online appointment ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) ngayong umiiral ang modified enhanced community quarantine sa Metro Manila.

Sa abiso ng ahensya, sinabi ni BI Commissioner Jaime Morente na ang mga mayroong confirmed appointments mula August 3 hanggang 18 ay kailangang mag-reapply para sa bagong schedule.

Sa ilalim ng MECQ ay babalik ang BI sa pagkakaroon lamang ng skeletal workforce sa main office nito sa Intramuros, Maynila.

Magpapatuloy naman ang online appointment system para sa mga dayuhan na may schedule ng pag-alis sa bansa sa kasagsagan ng pag-iral ng MECQ.

Kailangan lamang ipakita ang kanilang confirmed flight bookings o plane tickets para patunayan na pasok sa MECQ period ang kanilang flight.

Ang mga transaksyon na suspendido sa BI main office ay anng mga sumusunod:

– aplikasyon o conversion o renewal ng immigrant visa
– petition for recognition bilang Philippine citizens
– downgrading ng visa status
– tourist visa extension
– special work permits (SWP) at provisional permit to work (PPW)
– renewal ng alien certificate of registration (ACR I-Cards)
– pagpapatupad ng aplikasyon para sa visa conversion o extension na inaprubahan ng Board of Commissioners (BOC).
