Metro Manila, MECQ areas tatadtarin ng checkpoints – PNP

Sa pagbabalik ng modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) sa Metro Manila, asahan na ang pagbabalik ng mas maraming checkpoints.

Ito ang inanunsiyo ni Police Lt. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar, ang Joint Task Force COVID Shield commander.

Ang mga checkpoints, sabi pa ni Elezar, ay sa mga lungsod at bayan na nasa hangganan ng Metro Manila, Rizal, Laguna, Bulacan, at Cavite, na pawang MECQ areas din.

Paliwanag ng opisyal, ang checkpoints ay ikakasa para malimitahan ang pagbiyahe ng mga tao sa mga authorized person outside residence (APOR) lamang.

Hindi na aniya muling papayagan ang mga unauthorized person outside residence (UPOR) na magtungo sa ibang bayan o lungsod para sa kanilang mga pangunahing pangangailangan.

“We will be implementing stricter measures in areas under MECQ for 15 days. This is not something new to our kababayan in Metro Manila and the four nearby provinces,” sabi pa ni Eleazar.

Samantala, wala pang abiso aniya mula sa IATF kung mananatili o hindi na muling papayagan ang magka-angkas sa motorsiklo sa MECQ areas.
