Publiko, hinikayat na magkaisa laban sa COVID-19
Hinimok ni House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano ang publiko na magkaisa para labanan ang COVID-19.
Ayon kay Cayetano, sumasang-ayon ang liderato at mga myembro ng Kamara kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na ang tunay na kalaban ay COVID-19 at hindi ang gobyerno.
“The leadership and members of the House of the People agree with the President that COVID-19 is the enemy, not the Government”, saad ni Cayetano.
Aminado ito na marami pang dapat na gawin ang pamahalaan upang makalagpas sa pagsubok ng pandemya pero isa aniyang “great disservice” sa bansa ang ginagawa ng mga nag-uudyok ng pagkakawatak-watak sa panahon na ito dahil inililihis ang lahat sa tunay na laban.
Sabi ni Cayetano, “While there are still many more that can and should be done to help the country get through this most difficult period – those fomenting disunity at this time are doing the nation a great disservice by distracting us from the real battle.”
Wala aniyang monopolya ng mga magagandang ideya at solusyon at sinumang nagpapanggap ng ganito ay kung hindi sinungaling ay isang mangmang.
