Ayon sa Phivolcs, namataan ang episentro ng lindol sa layong 38 kilometers Southwest ng Calayan bandang 12:37 ng tanghali.
15 kilometers ang lalim nito at tectonic ang origin.
Sinabi ng Phivolcs na hindi naman nagdulot ng pinsala sa nasabing bayan ang lindol.
Wala ring inaasahang aftershcoks matapos ang pagyanig.
