Retired Caloocan Bishop Iñiguez, nagpositibo rin sa COVID-19

Tinamaan ng Coronavirus Diseas (COVID-19) ang isa pang obispo, ayon sa Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP).

Batay sa impormasyon ng CBCP, sinabi ng Diocese of Kalookan na nagpositibo si Retired Bishop Deogracias Iñiguez sa nakakahawang sakit.

Sa ngayon, nabibigyan na ng atensyong-medikal ang obispo sa isang ospital.

Inanunsiyo ito ni Bishop Pablo Virgilio David sa isang misa sa San Roque Cathedral, araw ng Linggo.

“May the Lord grant his healing grace to our beloved bishop and all the people affected by the disease,” ani Bishop David.

Wala namang ibang detalye binanggit si Bishop David.

Si Bishop Iñiguez ang ikalawang obispo na tinamaan ng nakakahawang sakit sa bansa.

Noong July 23, unang inanunsiyo ni Bishop Broderick Pabillo, administrator ng Manila archdiocese, na positibo siya sa COVID-19.
