Gabinete ni Pangulong Duterte, nagpulong para talakayin ang apela ng health workers

Nagpatawag ng pulong si Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea kasama ang ilang miyembro ng Gabinete ng administrasyong Duterte, Sabado ng gabi.

Sa inilabas na pahayag, sinabi ni Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque na layon nitong talakayin ang mga rekomendasyon ng medical community ukol sa paglaban sa COVID-19 sa bansa.

Isa na rito ang hiling ng health workers na muling isailalim sa enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) ang Metro Manila.

Kasama sa pulong sina Budget Secretary Wendel Avisado, Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez, Health Secretary Francisco Duque III, Interior Secretary Eduardo Año, Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana, Senior Deputy Executive Secretary Michael Ong at Presidential Assistant for Foreign Affairs Robert Borje.

Maliban dito, kasama rin sa pulong sina National Task Force (NTF) Chief Implementer Carlito Galvez Jr., NTF Deputy Chief Implementer Vince Dizon at One Hospital Incident Command Chief Leopoldo Vega.

Nasa pulong din sina Senator Christopher “Bong” Go, chairman ng Senate Committee on Health, at maging si Roque.

Ayon pa kay Roque, bago ito, nauna nang nakapulong ng ilang miyembro ng Gabinete ang mga representante ng Philippine Medical Association (PMA), Philippine Nurses Association at Philippine Association of Medical Technologists pagkatapos ng isinagawang press conference noong Sabado ng umaga.

“Recommendations from the aforesaid meeting will also be submitted tonight for the President’s review,” pahayag pa ni Roque.
