Proseso ng permit para pagtatayo ng tower ng mga network 16 to 20 days na lang mula sa dating 200 days

Matapos ang panawagan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa Smart at Globe sa kaniyang State of the Nation Address (SONA) napabilis na ang proseso sa pag-apply ng permit para makapagtayo ng tower.

Dumalo sa pulong ng Inter Agency Task Force si Globe president Ernest Cu, at binanggit nito kay Pangulong Duterte na inaabot sa 25 hanggang sa 29 na permits ang kailangan nilang kuhanin sa mga lokal na pamahalaan at sa ilang ahensya ng gobyerno para makapagtayo ng isang tower lang.

Kadalasan aniyang inaabot ng walong buwan ang proseso sa pagkuha ng permit maliban pa sa binabayaran nilang napakarami at iba’t ibang ‘tower fees’.

Tiniyak naman Interior and Local Government Sec. Eduardo Año na mula sa dating 200 days ay 16 to 20 days na lang ang itatagal sa proseso ng pag-apply ng permits para sa tower.

Sinabi ni Año na matapos ang utos ni Pangulong Duterte ay nakipagkasundo ang DILG, iba’t ibang ahensya ng gobyerno at mga lokal na pamahalaan para sa aplikasyon ng lisensya at permit para sa mga Telecom tower.

Titiyakin aniya ng DILG na tatalima dito ang mga LGU at iba pang ahensya upang mapabilis ang pagtatayo ng mga tower.
