Ospital ng Maynila, ipinasara ni Mayor Moreno dahil sa pagkakasakit ng health workers

Ipinag-utos ni Mayor Isko Moreno ang pansamantalang pagpapasara ng Ospital ng Maynila dahil marami sa health workers ang tinatamaan ng COVID-19.

Ayon kay Moreno, sarado ang ospital hanggang sa Agosto 9 at magsasagawa ng sanitation operation kasabay nang contact tracing sa hanay ng mga hospital worker.

Aniya, nais lang niyang masiguro na malusog at ligtas ang kanilang medical frontliners.

“Para makafocus na maalagaan ang kalusugan ng mga frontliners natin sa medical sector, the task is to really stop the continuing contagion among themselves,” aniya.

Nabatid na 15 hospital workers ang positibo na sa COVID-19 at may 32 iba pa ang naghihintay ng resulta.

Umabot na rin sa 58 indibiduwal ang nakumpirma na naging close contacts ng mga positibo sa sakit.
