Validity ng rehistro ng mga sasakyan muling pinalawig ng LTO

Pinalawig pa ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) ang validity ng rehistro ng mga sasakyan.

Ito ay bunsod ng nagdaang pagsasara ng mga tanggapan ng LTO dahil sa pandemic ng COVID-19.

Simula noong Marso, epektibo na din ang pagkansela sa penalties para sa late registration ng mga sasakyan at renewal ng mga paso nang driver’s license.

“We are continuously extending the validity and the period for renewal of registration of motor vehicles since March. This is in adherence to the directive of Secretary Tugade, at the start of the community quarantine, to consider the health and economic crisis we are facing. Naiintindihan po natin na apektado ang kabuhayan ng marami nating kababayan sa panahon ng pandemya kaya natin pinapalawig ang validity ng mga rehistro,” Ayon kay LTO Assistant Secretary Edgar C. Galvante.

Sinabi ni LTO Assistant Secretary Edgar C. Galvante, sa mga sasakyan na ang plate number ay nagtatapos sa number 6 at naka-schedule ng renewal ng rehistro para sa buwan ng Hunyo sa National Capital Region (NCR), Laguna, Cebu, at Region III, extended ng 30-araw pa ang pagbabayad ng penalty.

Ayon kay Galvante ang deadline sa pagpaparehistro ng mga sasakyan na ang plate numbers ay nagtatapos sa 6 sa nabanggit na mga rehiyon ay hanggang September 30, 2020.

Pinalawig din ng 30-araw pa ang renewal ng registration ng mga sasakyan na ang plaka ay nagtatapos sa 7, 8, 9 at 0 sa lahat ng LTO offices.

Tiniyak ng LTO na walang ipapataw na penalty sa mga may-ari ng sasakyan.
