P12.8-M halaga ng marijuana sinira sa Danao City, Cebu
Sinira na mga otoridad ang P12,800,000 halaga ng marijuana plants sa Danao City, Cebu Lunes ng hapon.
Ayon sa Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency – Central Visayas (PDEA RO) 7, isinagawa ang marijuana eradication sa dalawang sites sa bahagi ng Sitio Pulgason, Barangay Langusig bandang 4:00 ng hapon.
Nakuha sa operasyon ang humigit-kumulang 32,000 fully grown marijuana plants mula sa dalawang site.
Nakatakas naman ang cultivator na si Baristo Camaongay nang matunugan ang pagdating ng mga otoridad.
Si Camaongay ay itinuturing bilang isang high-value target.
Kasong paglabag sa Section 16, Article 2 ng Republic Act 9165 ang isasampa laban sa suspek.
