Pagpasa sa mga priority bills na binanggit ni Pangulong Duterte sa SONA prayoridad ng Kamara ayon kay Majority Leader Romualdez
Handa ang Kamara de Representantes na ipasa ang mga priority bills na binanggit ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa kanyang ika-limang State of the Nation Address kahapon.
Ayon kay House Majority Leader Martin Romualdez, kabilang sa mga batas na ito ay ang pagbuhay ng death penalty para sa mga kasong may kinalaman sa iligal na droga.
Tatalakayin anyang mabuti ng Kamara ang death penalty measures.
Ani Romualdez, “The House also assures that the death penalty measures will be
deliberated on thoroughly. We, in the House of Representatives, are committed to deliver to the President the measures needed to support his vision for the nation in the years to come.”
Iginiit nito na sa kabila ng pandemenyang kinakaharap ng bansa tinitiyak nila na magtatrabaho silang maigi upang maisabatas ang mga nais ng pangulo para sa kapakanan ng sambayananng Filipino.
“Despite the uncertain times brought by the global pandemic, we will ensure that the administration’s priority bills will be realized with efficiency for the welfare of the Filipino people,” saad ni Romualdez.
Sa utos anya ni House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano, magtatrabaho siya katuwang si Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri upang pag-usapan ang mga bagong prayoridad na batas ng pangulo na binanggit ngayong SONA kumpara noong nakalipas na taon.
Bukod sa mga nabanggit ng pangulo sa kanyang ulat sa bayan ay prayoridad din ng Kamara ang pagtalakay sa 2021 national budget at ang coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) roadmap for recovery.
