DSWD, DILG inatasan ni Pangulong Duterte na mag-imbestiga sa mga hindi naisamang PUV driver sa Pantawid Pasada Program
Inatasan na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) at Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) na magsagawa ng imbestigasyon sa mga drayber ng mga pampublikong sasakyan na hindi naisama sa Pantawid Pasada Program.
Sa State of the Nation Address (SONA), sinabi ng Pangulo na may natanggap siyang reklamo na may mga drayber ang hindi nakatanggap ng ayuda.
“Public utility drivers were given assistance through the Pantawid Pasada Program. There are complaints that some drivers did not receive any assistance at all. I have directed the DSWD and DILG to look into this,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
Ayon sa Pangulo, sa ngayon, nasa 4.3 milyong mahihirap na pamilyang Filipino na ang nakinabang sa Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program.
Nasa 9.2 milyong beneficiaries naman ang nakatanggap ng subsidiya sa pamamagitan ng Unconditional Cash Transfer program.
Ibinida rin ng Pangulo na naging libre na ang tertiary education at Universal Health Care.
