2021 national budget at COVID-19 Roadmap for Recovery pagtutuunan sa pagbubukas ng sesyon ngayong araw
Pagtutuanan ng pansin ng Mababang Kapulungan ng Kongreso sa pagbubukas ng second regular session ng 18th Congress ang 2021 National Budget at ang COVID-19 Roadmap for Recovery.
Ayon kay House Majority Leader at Leyte Rep. Martin Romualdez na inaasahan niya na ang magiging pondo para sa susunod na taon ay magiging stimulus budget upang bumangon ang ekonomiya dahil sa COVID-19 pandemic.
Sabi nito, inaasahan na ang 2021 budget ay magbibigay focus din sa health sector at ang pagpapaganda ng mga pasilidad pangkalusugan sa buong bansa.
Giit nito, ang buong detalye ng COVID-19 roadmap for recovery at iba pang priority measures ay ilalahad ni Pangulong Duterte sa kanyang SONA mamayang hapon.
“We expect the President to spell out in his SONA (State of the Nation Address) the full details of his COVID-19 roadmap for recovery and other priority measures for the Second Regular Session. It is expected to hear from him the next steps to bring our country forward in the wake of the economic devastation caused by the pandemic. We are faced with a heavy task ahead but we are confident that, under President [Rodrigo] Duterte’s leadership, we are going to survive this ordeal and come out stronger and wiser as a nation,” ani Romualdez.
Paliwanag ni Romualdez, ang SONA ang pagkakataon ng pangulo upang ilahad ang mga nagawa ng kanyang administrasyon sa nakalipas na taon lalo na ang pagtugon sa problema ng sambayanang Filipino.
“The SONA is the biggest platform that allows President Duterte to capsulize what his administration has accomplished in the year that passed. For this year’s SONA, I am optimistic that the President will give us a detailed account of what we have done so far in addressing the myriad of problems plaguing the Filipino nation,” saad Romualdez.
