Ika-92 Kaarawan ni King of Comedy Dolphy tampok sa Google Doodle
Binigyang-parangal ng Google si King of Comedy Dolphy ngayon ika-92 Kaarawan nito.
Tampok si Dolphy sa doodle ng Google.
“This illustrates the country’s King of Comedy whose charm and humor warmed hearts and made him a household name among millions of Filipino,” ayon sa Google.
Si Dolphy ay ipinanganak July 25, 1928.
Nagsimula ang kaniyang interest sa pelikula dahil magbebenta siya ng mani at pakwan sa sinehan sa Maynila.
Unang gumanap sa pelikula si Dolphy sa edad na 19.
Ang pinakamalaking television debut niya ay nong 1960s sa seryeng “Buhay Artista”.
Hindi rin malilimutan ang sitcom niyang “John en Marsha”.
“Google Philippines is proud to showcase one of our country’s iconic entertainment personalities to the world,” pahayag ni Mervin Wenke, Head of Communications and Public Affairs ng Google Philippines.
Sa pamamagitan ng Google Doodle, sinabi ni Wenke nabinibigyang tribute na ang talento at passion ni Dolphy at ang naiambag nito sa local entertainment industry.
