Imbestigasyon sa korapsyon sa PhilHealth iniutos ni Pangulong Duterte
Ipinag-utos ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang pagsasagawa ng imbestigasyon sa umano ay korapsyon sa Philippine Health Insurance Corp.’s o PhilHealth.
Kabilang dito ang pagbili ng information technology system na nagresulta pa umano sa hindi pagkakaunawaan sa pagitan ng mga opisyal ng ahensya.
Ayon sa ilang source nagkaroon ng mainitang pagtatalo sa Zoom meeting ng mga opisyal ng ahensya noong Miyerkules.
Kinumpirma naman ni Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque ang pagbibitiw sa pwesto ni Atty. Thorrsson Montes Keith, na anti-fraud legal officer ng PhilHealth.
Sinabi ni Roque si Undersecretary Jose Melchor Quitain ng Office of the Special Assistant to the President ang binigyang otorisasyon ng pangulo para magsagawa ng imbestigasyon.
“We enjoined all parties, including Keith, to fully cooperate with Undersecretary Quitain so we can get to the truth,” ani Roque.
Tiniyak ni Roque na hindi papayagan ng pangulo ang anumang uri ng korapsyon lalo pa at ngayong may pandemya.
