LOOK: Grupo ng mga tsuper umapela ng ayuda sa DSWD

Nagtungo ang grupo ng mga driver sa tanggapan ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) upang umpela ng ayuda sa ilalim ng Social Amelioration Program ng gobyerno.

Ayon sa grupo, karamihan sa kanila ay hindi pa nakatatanggap ng ayuda mula sa gobyerno magmula pa noong magsimula ang lockdown noong Marso.

Ayon kay Ruben “Ka Bong” Baylon, deputy secretary general ng Piston, hindi na nga sila pinayagang makapasada, wala rin silang nakukuhang ayuda.

Iginiit ng Piston na habang humihingi ang mga driver ng ayuda, ang kanilang pangunahing panawagan ay nananatiling 100% na balik-pasada sa lahat ng mga ruta at zero jeepney phaseout.
