Safety protocols sa ‘face-to-face classes,’ pinatitiyak ni Sen. Villanueva

Hinimok ni Senator Joel Villanueva ang Department of Labor and Employment o DOLE na magpalabas ng safety protocols sa mga paaralan kung saan maaaring magsagawa ng ‘face to face classes.’

Aniya, kailangang siguraduhin din ng gobyerno ang kaligtasan ng mga guro at iba pang empleyado sa paaralan.

“Bago po tuluyang payagan ang mga paaralan at training institutes na magpapasok ng mga estudyante, dapat pong magbalangkas ng mga panuntunan para sa kaligtasan ng mga guro at iba pang empleyado ng mga paaralan at training institutes,” sabi ng senador.

Sinabi pa nito na kailangan ay mapalagay din ang loob ng mga magulang na may safety and health protocols sa paaralan ng kanilang mga anak.

Hinihikayat ng namumuno sa Senate Committee on Higher Education na makipag-ugnayan ang DOLE sa DepEd, Commission on Higher Education, at Technical Education and Skills Development Authority para sa ilalatag na occupational safety and health standards sa mga paaralan at pasilidad pang-edukasyon.
