BREAKING: Marawi siege survivor Fr. Chito Suganob pumanaw na

Pumanaw na Fr. Chito Suganob – ang pari na isa sa mga nakaligtas matapos gawing hostage ng Islamist State militants sa Marawi City noong May 2017.

Sa pahayag ng Episcopal Commission on Culture ng Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) kinumpirma ang pagpanaw ni Fr. Chito Suganob sa Cotabato dahil sa cardiac arrest.

Nagpaabot ang CBCP ng pakikiramay sa pagpanaw ng pari.

“We pray for the repose of +Fr. Chito Suganob (the Marawi Priest) who passed away this morning in Cotabato due to cardiac arrest. Rest in peace Fr. Chito. Thank you for visiting our PDDM communities,” ayon sa pahayag.

Si Fr. Chito ay isa sa 200 katao na naging hostage noon ng mga Islamist State militants.

September 2017 nang siya ay mailigtas ng mga otoridad.
