Empleyado ng POLO sa Jeddah, Saudi Arabia pumanaw dahil sa COVID-19

Isang empleyado ng Philippine Labor Office / Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (POLO/OWWA) sa Jeddah, Saudi Arabia ang nasawi matapos tamaan ng COVID-19.

Kinumpirma ito ng Philippine Consulate Office sa Jeddah.

Ayon sa pahayag ng konsulada ang POLO staff ay pumanaw noong July 20, 2020.

Tatlo sa mga nakasalamuha ng pasyente ang pinasailalim muna sa self-quarantine.

Dahil dito, sarado muna ang konsulada simula ngayong araw, July 22 hanggang sa August 9, 2020.

Tiniyak naman ng konsulada na magpapatuloy ang pamamahagi ng cash assistance sa ilalim ng DOLE-AKAP hanggang sa July 23.

Tuloy din ang paghahatid ng cash assistance sa mga tirahan ng mga kwalipkadong OFW.
