Face-to-face classes sa low risk areas inaprubahan ni Pangulong Duterte

Inaprubahan na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang hirit ni Education Secretary Leonor Briones na payagan na ang face-to-face classes sa mga lugar na low risk o mababa ang kaso ng COVID-19.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, sang-ayon ang pangulo sa hirit ni Briones.

Sa meeting kagabi ng Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Disease, inihalimbawa ni Briones kay Pangulong Duterte ang Siquijor na nag-umpisa na ng face-to-face classes noong Hunyo pati na ang De La Salle University.

Humihirit na rin aniya ang ilang local government units maging ang international schools na makapagsagawa ng face-to-face classes.

Pero ayon kay Briones, kailangan muna makamit ang apat na kondisyon.

Una, dapat ang lugar ay nasa modified general communty quarantine, ikalawa ang pagkakaroon ng physical inspection sa mga paslidad sa mga eskwlehan, ikatlo ang assessment sa mga eskwlehan at ikaapat ang mas mahigpit na health standards.
