Pansamantalang isususpinde ang operasyon ng Department of Agriculture Central Office simula sa July 20 hanggang 24.
Sa inilabas na memorandum ni Agriculture Secretary William Dar, ito ay para bigyang-daan ang pagsasagawa ng masusing disinfection sa lahat ng gusali at opisina sa loob ng DA Central compound.
Magsasagawa rin ng administrative at engineering precautionary measures laban sa COVID-19.
“Also, this will afford all personnel reporting in the DA Central Office a fourteen-day quarantine period in view of recent reports of individual/s tested positive for COVID-19,” nakasaad pa sa memorandum.
Para matiyak ang patuloy ang operasyon, sinabi ni Dar na on-call ang lahat ng empleyado nito sa pamamagitan ng Information Technology applications tulad ng e-mail video conferencing at teleconferencing.
Magbibigay din ang lahat ng head ng mga opisina ng work-from-home assignments sa mga staff.
