CA Justice Priscilla Baltazar-Padilla itinalaga bilang abgong mahistrado ng Korte Suprema

Itinalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte bilang bagong associate justice ng Supreme Court si Court of Appeals (CA) Justice Priscilla Baltazar-Padilla.

Ang appointment kay Padilla ay inanunsyo ni Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque.

Pupunan ni Padilla ang pwestong nabakante ni Supreme Court Associate Justice Andres Reyes Jr. na nagretiro noong Mayo.

Si Padilla ang napili ng pangulo mula sa mga nominado na isinumite ng Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) na kinabibilangan nina SC Court Administrator Jose Midas P. Marquez at iba pang CA justices na sina Ricardo Rosario, Japar Dimaampao, Jhosep Lopez, Ramon Cruz at Manuel Barrios.
