34 magulang ng mga menor de edad na lumabag sa quarantine protocols, hinuli sa Maynila

Hinuli ng mga tauhan ng Manila Police District (MPD) ang 34 magulang ng mga menor de edad na lumabag sa quarantine protocols.

Ayon sa Manila Public Information Office, ito ay matapos magbabala si Mayor Isko Moreno na ang pagpapabaya sa mga anak ay paglabag sa Anti-Child Endangerment Act.

Partikular na binanggit ang pagpayag sa mga anak na lumabaas ng bahay nang walang suot na face mask tuwing curfew hours.

Sinabi ng alkalde na seryoso ang Manila City government sa pagpapatupad ng mga polisiya lalo na sa panahon ng pandemya.

“Kailangan matuto ang mga magulang na disiplinahin ang kanilang mga anak,” pahayag ni Moreno.

“We’re not happy about it. I am not happy. I don’t want to separate children and parents. But I will do that if you’re irresponsible parents.. I will intervene as government to take care of our children or minors. That is also the job of the government, to intervene,” dagdag pa nito.

Nakuha ang mga ito ng MPD at Manila Department of Social Welfare sa Barangay 50, 51, 52, 53, 55, 56, 61, 221 at 228.

Mahaharap ang mga magulang sa paglabag sa City Ordinance No. 8243 o Anti-Child Endangerment Act.
