P1.5-M halaga ng Kush, nasamsam ng BOC

Nasamsam ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) ang P1.5 milyong halaga ng high-grade Marijuana o Kush sa Central Mail Exchange Center (CMEC) sa Pasay City.

Sinabi ng ahensya na idineklara ang parcel bilang “Streetwear via Ebay” at naka-consign sa isang indibidwal mula sa Pangasinan at California sa Amerika.

Lumabas sa masusing physical examination na naglalaman ang parcel ng Kush na may bigat na 940 gramo.

Nakumpirmang high-grade marijuana nga ito sa ginawang pagsusuri ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

Nai-turnover na ang Kush sa PDEA para sa isasagawa pang imbestigasyon sa posibleng paglabag sa Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA No. 9165) na may kinalaman sa Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (RA No. 10863).

Tiniyak naman ng BOC Port of NAIA na patuloy silang magiging alerto para bantayan at protektahan ang borders ng bansa.
