“This is the reason why my job is tough because even if I don’t have to I really have to be present the President when he addresses a crowd to make sure that I understand the context and to give for myself what he said. Unfortunately, I was not in Jolo people saw me conduct my news briefing where I presented the new czars of testing, tracing, isolation, and treatment. So I will not be able to comment on whether or not what the Inquirer reported is correct,” pahayag ni Roque.

“And in so far as he has actually gone against oligarchs, referring to the water concessionaire and Lucio Tan, I stand by that,” ani Roque.

“Well he was able to protect the public interest against this disadvantageous water concession agreement. Now, the Lopezes have not been dismantled. They have other other business. They have FirstGen, they are still a major player well the only player as far as LNG is concerned. They are still active in real estate, they still have Rockwell. They lost ABS-CBN and its because they have no franchise,” dagdag pa ni Roque.
