DOH umapela sa mga pagamutan na palawigin ang kanilang alokasyon para sa COVID-19 cases

Hiniling ng Department of Health (DOH) sa mga pagamutan na palawigin ang kanilang intensive care unit (ICU) beds para sa COVID-19 cases.

Kasunod ito ng pahayag ng maraming ospital na puno na ang kanilang COVID-19 wards.

Ayon kay DOH Undersecretary Leopoldo Vega, dapat ang bawat ospital ay mayroong minimum na 30% bed allocation para sa COVID-19 cases.

Mayroon aniyang ilang pagamutan ang hindi ito sinusunod.

Sinabi ni Vega na sa ibang pagamutan, 5% hanggang 10% lang ang alokasyon.

Payo ng DOH sa mga ospital at iba pang health facilities mas mainam kung palalawigin hanggang sa 60% ang COVID-19 bed allocation.

Magugunitang ang malalaking ospital sa Metro Manila ay nagpa-abiso na, na naabot na nila ang full capacity para sa COVID-19 cases.
