Wanted na Amerikanong pedophile, ipina-deport ng BI

Ipina-deport ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) ang isang hinihinalang Amerikasong pedophile dahil sa umano’y sexual exploitation sa mga babae sa Cebu City.

Ayon kay Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente, naipa-deport ang 64-anyos na si Craig Alex Levin noong July 9 sa pamamagitan ng chartered special flight ng US Embassy mula Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Ipinag-utos aniya ng BI Board of Commissioners na mapa-deport ang dayuhan dahil sa pagiging undocumented alien at estado nito bilang pugante.

Inilagay na rin aniya ang dayuhan sa immigration blacklist kung kaya hindi na muling makakapasok ng Pilipinas si Levin.

Nahuli si Levin sa kaniyang condominium unit sa bahagi ng Barangay Cogon Ramos sa Cebu City noong May 24, 2019 matapos makitang may kasamang 15-anyos na dalagitan sa kaniyang kwarto.

Nagbabala naman ang BI chief sa mga dayuhan na planong pumunta ng Pilipinas para sa ilegal na aktibidad.

“Do not prey on our children. We do not welcome sex tourists in this country,” pahayag ni Morente.
