Critical care capacity for ICU beds sa mga ospital sa NCR, nasa danger zone na
Nasa danger zone na ang critical care capacity for intensive care unit beds ng mga ospital sa Metro Manila.
Ito ay dahil sa pagtaas ng bilang ng mga pasyente na nag positibo sa COVID-19.
Ayon kay Health Undersecretary Leopoldo Vega, base ito sa inilatag na tracker system ng Department of Health o DOH.
“Actually, the critical bed capacity especially for the ICUs, according to our data, nasa danger zone. It’s about mga 70 percent.
Tumataas ngayon ang occupancy ng COVID isolation beds. Nata-track po namin ito through the bed tracker system ng Department of Health at ito po ay kasama sa aming mga dashboard…’Yung ating ICU beds, ito rin ay dahan dahang tumataas,” pahayag ni Vega.
Inaatasan ng DOH ang mga pribadong ospital na maglaan ng 30 porsyento ng kanilang bed capacity para sa mga pasyente ng COVID-19.
Inihahanda na rin ng DOH ang mga pampublikong ospital.
“We are trying to prepare the public hospitals, especially the government hospitals na they have to adjust in the number of their ICU beds because we have to be ready for this because we are in a crisis,” dagdag ni Vega.
Inaayos na rin ng DOH ang sistema sa iba pang health facilities sa bansa.
“We are trying to collaborate with the different health facilities so that we will work as a network and there’s a system to it rather than move independently with each other,” pahayag ni Vega.
Nagphayag na rin ang Makati Medical Center at St. Luke’s Medical Center sa Global City sa Taguig at sa Quezon City na puno na kanilang bed capacity para sa mga pasyente ng COVID-19.
Pinapayuhan ang mga pasyente na positibo sa COVID-19 at nasa kritikal na kalagayan na maghanap na lamang ng ibang ospital para mabigyan ng karampatang atensyong medikal.
Matatandaan na noong nakaraang linggo lamang, inanunsyo ng DOH na puno na rin ang critical care capacity for intensive care unit ng 11 ospital sa Metro Manila.

-Capitol Medical Center
Sa ngayon, nasa general community quarantine ang Metro Manila at tatagal ng hanggang July 15.
Sa pinakahuling talaan ng DPH, pumalo na sa mahigit 57,000 na kaso ng COVID-19 ang naitala sa Pilipinas.
