19.5M nagpa-enroll na para sa school year 2020-2021
Higit 19.5 milyon na ang nagpa-enroll para sa muling pagsisimula ng mga klase sa susunod na buwan, ayon sa Department of Education o DepEd.
Base sa datos ng kagawaran, ang 19,534,836 enrollees ay sa public at private schools at ito rin mula kindergarten hanggang sa senior high school.
Sa naturang bilang, 18,543,788 ang nag-enroll sa public schools at 968,154 naman sa private schools.
Ang natitirang bilang ay nag-enroll sa local colleges at state universities na may basic education programs.
Sa Region 4A (Calabarzon) naitala ang pinakamaraming enrollees na nasa 2,606,200 samantalang sa Cordillera Administrative Region ang may pinakamababang bilang sa 315,408.
Kasama rin sa bilang ang mga learners with disabilities at ang mga sasailalim sa alternative learning system.
