4,600 Pinoy sa Qatar, nagpasaklolo para makauwi ng Pilipinas

Aabot sa 4,600 na Filipino sa Qatar ang nagpasaklolo na sa embahada para makauwi ng Pilipinas.

Sa Laging Handa Public Briefing, sinabi ni Philippine Ambassador to Qatar, Ambassador Alan Timbayan, may nakalinya nang chartered repatriation sa July 12 at 22.

“Meron pa kaming ibang repatriation scheme na ginagawa. For instance po yung Qatar ticket holders na OFW, we are making representations for their repatriation with Qatar Airways and then yung mga holders of PAL ticket holders, we are already in talks to come and test them so that they can be repatriated. Other than this other repatriation schemes are also being undertaken by the embassy,” pahayag ni Timbayan.

Ayon kay Timbayan, tinutugunan na ng embahada ang pangangailangan ng mga Filipino na naapektuhan ng COVID-19.

Halimbawa na aniya ang mga Filipino na nawalan ng trabaho, nag-expire ang visa at iba la.

“The embassy is here to assist you, doing everything it can to assist repatriation. Let us be patient, follow pronouncement of Qatar re COVID 19, please continue to also follow FB page,” pahayag ng Ambassador.
