Taong 2020 idineklarang “Year of Filipino Health Workers” ni Pangulong Duterte
Idineklara ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang taong 2020 bilang “Year of Filipino health workers”.
Ito ay bilang pagkilala sa naging serbisyo ng ng mga medcal workers ngayong panahon ng COVID-19 pandemic.
Sa bisa ng Proclamation No. 976 inatasan ng pangulo ang Department of Health (DOH) na pangunahan ang national observance ng year of Filipino health workers.
Hinikayat din ng pangulo ang mga lokal na pamahalaan, business communities, relevant society groups at professional organizations na aktibong umasiste sa DOH.
Maging ang media ay hinimok ng pangulo na i-promote ang mga programa at aktibidad kaugnay sa selebrasyon.
