Mga labi ng 49 na OFW na nasawi sa Saudi Arabia darating na sa bansa

Darating na sa bansa ang mga labi ng 49 na Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) na nasawi sa Saudi Arabia.

Ayon kay Labor and Employment Sec. Silvestre Bello III inaasahang darating ang flight lulan ang mga labi alas 10:55 ng umaga ngayong Biyernes, July 10.

Sa panayam ng Radyo Inquirer sinabi ni Bello na ito ang unang batch ng mga nasawing OFW mula Saudi Arabia na darating sa bansa.

Lunes o Martes naman darating ang ikalawang batch.

Ayon kay Bello, 274 ang lahat ng mga nasawing OFW sa Saudi Arabia ang kailangang iuwi sa bansa.

Sagot ng pamahalaan ang gastos sa repatriation at sasagutin din pati ang cremation sa mga nasawi sa COVID-19.
