Pagbagsak ng trainer aircraft iimbestigahan ng CAAP
Inabisuhan na ang mga tauhan ng Aircraft Accident Investigation and Inquiry Board ng Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) para imbestigahan ang pagbagsak ng isang training aircraft sa dagat ng Zamboanga City.
Sa inisyal na pahayag ng CAAP, nangyari ang insidente pitong minuto lang matapos lumipad ang Piper Seneca (RP C834) mula sa Zamboanga Airport alas-9:38 ng umaga.
Pag-aari ng Dumaguete-based flying school, Rohyle Aviation Academy Inc. ang eroplano at ito ay patungo sa Dumaguete Airport.
Sakay nito ang dalawang flight instructors, isang student co-pilot at isang mekaniko.
Hindi naman nasaktan ang apat na sakay ng eroplano at agad silang nasaklolohan sa seawall ng Sinunuc Boulevard.
