17 Station personnel ng MRT-3 positibo sa COVID-19

Labingpitong station personnel ng MRT-3 ang nagpositibo sa COVID-19.

Dagdag ito sa halos 200 nang mga tauhan ng MRT-3 at service provider nitong Sumitomo na nauna nang nagpositibo sa sakit.

Ang 17 station personnel na nagpositibo sa COVID-19 ay kinabibilangan ng mga sumusunod:

5 – ticket seller sa Araneta Center – Cubao
4 – ticket seller sa North Avenue
1 – ticket seller sa GMA Kamuning
1 – ticket seller (reserve)
3 – train drivers
2 – control center personnel
1 – nurse sa Taft Avenue

Ang pagtaas ng bilang ng mga station personnel ng MRT-3 na tinamaan ng sakit ang nagbunsod para pansamantalang itigil ang operasyon nito.

Aminado naman ang MRT-3 na mahirap sa ngayon na magsagawa ng contact tracing sa mga pasaherong posibleng nakasalamuha ng mga station personnel.

Ayon kay MRT-3 Director for Operations Michael Capati, sa ngayon wala pa silang sistema o pamamaraan para sa contact tracing sa mga pasaherong posibleng nakasalamuha ng 17 station personnel.

Gagamitin aniya ng MRT-3 ang mga araw na naka-shutdown ang kanilang operasyon para bumuo ng sistema para sa contract tracing.

Una nang pinayuhan ng Department of Health (DOH) ang mga regular na pasahero ng MRT-3 na bantayan ang kanilang kalusugan at agad magpasuri kapag nakaranas ng sintomas.
